No. However, for groups of 10 or more, we recommend that you book in advance. You will also have the opportunity to book personal guided tours and/or individual slots in your desired languages for our Demonstration Workshops.
Yes. You can always explore the Museum of the Meissen Porcelain Foundation on your own. The audio-guided tour through the Demonstration Workshops is also included in the entrance fee.

Yes. Exclusive tours of the Museum of the Meissen Porcelain Foundation are possible with a personal guide. In addition to the historical highlights from 300 years of manufacturing history, this guided tour also allows you to see how porcelain is produced in the Demonstration Workshops. To book a tour, please contact us in advance.
Yes. If your dog fits in a bag, you may take it with you to the exhibition areas and Demonstration Workshops. We only allow larger dogs in the MEISSEN Store and Café MEISSEN®.
Yes, there are elevators and stairlifts, as well as accessible toilets. We are happy to offer tours for the blind or visually impaired as well as tours for guests with disabilities. Please contact us in advance.
Yes. Photography and filming for private use are allowed in the Museum of the Meissen Porcelain Foundation. Please photograph exclusively without flash, tripods, or selfie sticks. For the sake of protecting the privacy of our employees, filming in the Demonstration Workshops is not permitted.
