The café of the House of MEISSEN® serves contemporary cuisine that is at once cosmopolitan and regionally inspired. The menu changes monthly and features Mediterranean-influenced dishes, traditional Saxon cuisine, and specialities from the region such as Meißner Winzerschinken – ham that is cured in local wines and then air-dried – and cheese from the Elbe Valley. The menu also features delicious rosé, white, and red wines from regional wineries as well as beers from local breweries. For coffee or afternoon tea, the café offers a variety of pastries and cakes, including the house speciality, Meißner Torte, featuring Meissen’s signature Crossed Swords. All dishes are served on Meissen porcelain.
