On July 15th and 16th, 2022, the first porcelain manufactory in Europe will open the doors to its unique workshops, in which the finest Meissen porcelain is manufactured traditionally and lovingly by hand. Our special tours, lectures and the Meissen Porcelain Museum give an insight into more than 300 years of manufacturing history, current trends and unique handicrafts.

A varied schedule of events for young and old alike awaits your guests in the Meissen Porcelain Manufactory at this year’s Open Day, which is running under the title of “Crossed Swords Turn 300”. Talks, guided tours and the Meissen Porcelain Museum will also provide exciting insights into the Manufactory’s history. Further Saxon craft businesses will also be showing off their wares and inviting you to tarry a while. Special bargains in the retail areas will round off the schedule.

The entrance fee is 6 EUR per person. This amount will be offset against your purchase at MEISSEN from a turnover of EUR 89.
