Several times a year, the Museum of the Meissen Porcelain Foundation opens its doors for an exclusive evening of culinary delights: a musically accompanied five-course menu served on tableware from 300 years of manufactory history.

The evening commences with a short tour through the museum, on which the traces of music in the works of the Meissen manufactory are illuminated. Thereupon, short sequences from operas, ballets, and musicals prelude the musical highlight of the evening: a live concert of the Meissen porcelain organ, the first and only organ with pipes made from Meissen porcelain.

Amidst porcelain treasures from 300 years of manufactory history, a specially curated four-course menu ensues. Per request, pairings with excellent wines from some of the Elbe Valley’s finest vineyards are also available.
